Formerly part of the Linksys Voice System (LVS), now part of Cisco Small Business Voice Accessories, the Cisco PoES5 Power over Ethernet (PoE) Splitter simplifies the addition or relocation of telephones in your office.
Transmitting power and voice over IP (VoIP) over the same Ethernet cable, the POES5 frees you from the restrictions of wall outlets, and with no tools or software, installation couldn't be easier.
Additional features of the Cisco POES5 include:
- Standard Category 5 Ethernet cable functionality
- An 802.3af PoE port for connection back to a PoE switch
- Connection to the standard DC power input and RJ45 Ethernet port on the Cisco IP phone (or other supported CiscoVoIP product) through two "split" cables
- Easy concealment inside the phone stand
